Closed Forms
My work is a continuous exploration of form and colour. For a long time, I made vessel forms, lately they have developed into closed sculptural objects.
Pushing clay slabs into forms that express the materials malleability, contrasting with the sharp edges of the severe cuts into the solid block forms.
As with all my work, these pieces are experimental, each piece a moment in a lifetime of exploration.
